Amarande Contest - Axelle

My entry for 's Worlds of Amarande (1-character category).

I chose to draw her villain, Axelle, the Class A ESPar serving the Melisi family on planet Mirapole.

I should've worked more on the background, but right now, SAI is killing me as far as this picture is concerned, and I'm afraid it won't be able to handle it any longer if I go on adding layers. I just hope this doesn't suck too much. I've never been great at backgrounds, much to my dismay.

As for the pose, at first I wanted to draw some kind of light around her left hand, to symbolize her power, but it just didn't look right. After all, she's an ESP... and for me, such power is not supposed to make sparkles or whatever when used, since it's all mental. So I removed that thing afterwards.
