Elena Castaldi, my 7th Sea main character. This young Fate Witch saw her family scattered to the four corners of Theah, and herself almost dying at the hands of pirates. After that, she decided she would take her own fate in hands (no matter how estranged from Vodacce this would make her), rescue her mother and little sister, and ensure that no man would ever dominate her again. If she ever goes back to her home country, either her country will burn her at the stake, or she will burn her country down to the ground, for there's no forgiving for witches who break free from their bonds.

The rapier she's holding is Bansidhe, her Twisted Blade. She enchanted it through the famous Swords Spread, while in Montaigne, using a blade crafted in Vendel as a basis, and giving it an Avalon name. Anything but to use Vodacce steel. No, really.

EDIT 26/04: Colouring completely redone after the original PSD file got lost in a computer crash. I tried to stay as close as possible to what I did previously. I probably enforced some of the shading, but since I never apply strong enough shadows anyway, I suppose this won't harm.
