Because my players were keeping on asking me to Storytell again (and because I have a kick-ass scenario in store for them, mwah), I was browsing through my Mage: The Ascension rulebook today for a little refresher, and while musing over the texts and images in it, the illustrations themselves made me feel like doing some b&w again - for the sake of it, but also because it was, so to say, "speaking" to me in this very moment.

Total "spur of the moment" inspiration, a.k.a "let's drop the book right now and draw!". I'm kinda toying with the idea of putting it in colors later on, but right now I like the strong background contrasts and lighter shadows as they are, and I wonder if colors wouldn't just throw it off more than anything else. I'll see. Critics very welcome, as I plan on making a print out of it if I still like it in 1-2 days...
