Waking up at 3:30 am T_T gave me the opportunity to do the colouringg on this lineart, at last.
This is 'Marja' (real name unknown), a 6-year-old girl our characters met during their travels in the RPG 7th Sea. She was later on abducted by the Children's Crusade, a secret society, led by Krijn Von Streuch. The Crusade attempts at gathering as many 'specially gifted' children as it can to further its goals. Most of these children are either geniuses (such as Manon, a 11-year-old mathematician) or sorcerers with an interesting potential.
'Marja' is among the latter. Probably born in the Eisenor area of Wische, she's a Waise (hence her absent stare and expression)—a person who has lost everything she ever had, all at once, and is nothing more than a mere shell now. However, she is also one of the last practitioners of the Totentanz, one of the lost Bargain sorceries. As such, she is able to animate and control the dead . Nobody knows as of yet how she musters enough willpower to do so; our current hypothesis is that Krijn, or one of his minions, has found the means to make her follow the Crusade's orders, in spite of how she's shut herself to the external world.
The clothes she's represented in here are very unusual on Theah; but then, most people in the Crusade wear unusual things, ranging from those 'loligoth' dresses to outfits looking suspiciously like tuxedoes. This is the way she was clad when she was introduced at the Court of Emperor Léon Alexandre of Montaigne, along with the little army of sorcerers and engineers Krijn had gathered to serve the Emperor during his new Ussuran campaign.
